Al Ain Art Installation

Commissioned as part of the Abu Dhabi Art Biennale, this rammed earth installation in Al Ain was conceived and created by a prominent local artist. The sculptural form reflects the natural stratification of the UAE’s terrain, built using a custom mix of locally sourced clays and sands.

AEM provided technical support, engineering studies, and full Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the execution. Our scope included coordinating between multiple contractors and testing laboratories to develop and implement a stable, high-performance rammed earth system tailored to the region’s environmental and structural conditions.

The project exemplifies the intersection of contemporary art and sustainable construction, brought to life through a precise and collaborative technical process that respected the integrity of the artist’s vision.
